The quarry between the Olidäe and the gods that led to war.

The Olidäe prepared massive celebrations for the 1000th anniversary of the foundation of Anat. Their already tense relations with the gods were strained even further as they did not follow the invitation of the Olidäe to celebrate with them. The gods called it hybris that their creation dares invite them to such an event: a god may visit without any invitation! The Olidäe on the other hand were offended by the arrogance of the gods, cancelling the invitation and prepared the festivities only for themselves.   The final offense came during the festivities, when the Olidäe claimed that the foundation of Anat was the best of all olidic creations as it has happened after the gods left them to their own devices. The city was referred to as the "Crownjewel" and the center of the world.   After the festivities came the wrath of the gods and the greatest war in the history of the world began...
