The Second Expedition to Sartoroc

Expedition

Following the success of the First Expedition, a second one is quickly organized and tasked with gathering further knowledge of the area as well as founding a first permanent settlement.

The expedition is unable to fullfill its tasks however, despite the major amount of available resources and personnel. Missmanagement and the ignoring of advice by earlier explorers lead to many members of the expedition getting lost in the wilderness. Attempts of erecting a settlement are postponed in favour of several unsuccessful attempts to push further into the unkown wilderness in search for supposed natural ressources. A mutiny finally ends any hopes of success. Only a small percentage of the crew manage to return home.
