Winters Rest
At the bottom of Holm mountain sits a small snow covered village. The home to the Jannasi and the Birdkin and over the years they have welcomed in strangers from all different backgrounds but still remain the home of those specific two races.

The village is ran by the Voices of Winter. This is a panel of the oldest members of the village who act as wise decision makers and will be representatives of the village in any trade or other meetings with the other cities and places of the world.
Industry & Trade
The village only has 5 places of business:
- Two of a kind - a restaurant ran by twin magpie birdkin brothers Delight and Despair
- The heartwood hearth - A humble inn owned by two peacock birdkin Paolo (passed a few years back) and Perrine of the cork
- The Honey Pot - A herbal apothecary rand by a birdkin beekeeper and his human husband.
- The rose and frog - coffee and vegan bakery owned by the same people who own Honeypot next door
- Djinn'll fix it - A general fix all shop ran by a family of Jannasi who all have different labourer skills from blacksmith to carpenter to seamstress.
- Aphrodites Hydria - By the docks a natural spa and baths but it is unknown who runs this place
- Village Hall - the place the Voices of winter gather and also where events for the village are held

Points of interest
The village is the home of the priests of Sky Holm the temple to the element of Air at the top of the Holm Mountain. People do come to pilgrimage to the top of the mountain and pray to the Element of Air. However none are allowed past The first Djinn of Air.
Geography
A hilly terrain in the midst of an evergreen woodland in the foot of a group of mountains. A small stream to the north west of the village provides fresh clean water for the village. A serene place of no modern technology so at night the sky is clear and the only light is from the village square bonfire and individual home fire light.
Climate
This is the frozen tundra of the north, there is times of the big melt where the streets are slippy, muddy and wet. However 70% of the year the entire village is covered in a blanket of snow.
Natural Resources
There is a lot of ever green trees all around but there are a few flowers that can survive the cold and shine through the snow year round. There are certain crops able to be carefully grown in the feilds but mostly they have goats and pigs. In the local region there are several types of wild life from various birds, wolves and foxes to the more rare Frost Wyrm, Sleipnir and Yeti.
