The open hand monks are the elite guards of the council while the rest of the guard are made up of Arcane archer and eldritch knight fighters and Oath of Ancient and Devotion palidans. (seperate article will be written of this)
Thathu is devotd to his job and keeping his dear city safe as possible but at the same time believes in peace, fairness and that the word is more powerful that the sword. This is why he keeps to fighting styles hands free where possible.
