Balshezaar the All-Seeing
A colossal, levitating aberration born of the Aether, Balshezaar the All-Seeing is a being of pure, malignant perception. Its immense spherical body is sheathed in slick, black flesh that shimmers like liquid obsidian, ever-shifting with iridescent hues that ripple across its surface like oil over water. Beneath the translucent layers of its hide, countless malformed eyes drift and fade — appearing and vanishing as if the creature’s very skin is alive with awareness.
Dominating its form is a single, immense central eye, burning with inverted light — a golden iris against a void-black sclera, its pupil spiraling endlessly inward. Surrounding this eye, a dozen serpentine eye stalks writhe and coil, each tipped with an eye of its own. Some glow with pale, shifting color; others leak smoke, tears of ink, or crackling energy. When all open in unison, the surrounding air warps and hums, as if reality itself strains under the weight of being seen too completely.
Balshezaar’s maw splits vertically beneath its eye, lined with jagged fangs of black chitin. When it speaks, its voice reverberates directly in the minds of those nearby — a chorus of tones, deep and resonant, carrying the cold certainty of something that knows far more than it should.

Driven out of its lair beneath the forest near Timberwatch, Balshezaar has taken control of the Thaldrisar army and currently seeks to create a new lair within the Timberwatch outpost itself.
