SPECIAL ABILITIES
Nanite Repair (Ex) A necroborg’s nanites heal it, restoring 1 Hit Point per hour.
Sightless (Ex) The vision does not use any visual senses and is thus never subject to any effect that requires the creature to see a target or effect.
Thoughtsense (Su): Creatures with this ability automatically detect and locate conscious creatures within the specified range (usually 60 feet). This ability functions similarly to blindsight. Nondetection, mind blank, and similar effects can block thoughtsense. Thoughtsense can distinguish between sentient (Intelligence 3 or greater) and non-sentient (Intelligence 1–2) creatures, but otherwise provides no information about the creatures it detects.
Tracking (Ex) The vision can use the Perception skill to perform the follow tracks task of the Survival skill with the scent or heat. The vision might gain a bonus or penalty to its Perception check to follow tracks depending on the strength of the quarry's signature, at the GM's discretion.
On rare occasions the promise” is bestowed onto an enemy of the cult resulting in fate worse than death. The infusion of necroplast strips the victim of their identity and leaves only a shadow of self-awareness. Although each necroborg vision is unique their intelligence and temperament could be compared to that of a domesticated dog. A powerful luminary might keep a vision around as both a warning to their enemies and as a loyal defender. The relationship between a vision and its master resembles that of a medieval lord and his prized wolfhounds. Like a wolfhound, visions are loyal to their masters and aggressive to those perceived as a threat to their pack.
Although a vision’s eyes are lost during their transformation to necroborg, in addition to thought sense the necroplast bestows them with an enhanced sense of hearing and smell making them exceptional trackers. A vison’s skin resembles rhino hide reinforced with a micro-lattice of carbon fiber. This carbon fiber runs throughout a vision’s body making it super durable. Each vision is further enhanced with retractable carbon fiber claws on their hands and feet. Although they are still capable of bipedal movement many prefer to run on all fours and appear to be comfortable in a crouching position. Visions are mentally capable of any task a well-trained dog could perform and should be treated as animals with respect to skill checks (like performing a trick).
