TENTICLE – OCCULT SIGHT
Your mythos tentacles are lined with eye sockets an implanted with a series of eyeballs. Occult sight allows your tentacles to see with normal vision, but they can also augment your vision for a number of minutes per day equal to the necrograft’s mark. They can be activated as a swift action, or they can be activated as a reaction whenever you attempt a Perception check. They can be deactivated as a swift action. Your tentacle’s occult sight duration need not be used all at once, but it must be used in 1-minute increments.
The vision granted by your tentacle’s occult sight varies based on the model as follows. Higher-level models can be used to grant the vision options of a lower-level version, but only a single benefit can be gained at a time with the exception of all-around vision, see below. Mk 1 occult sight grants low-light vision. Mk 2 occult sight grants darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Mk 3 occult sight grants the see in darkness universal creature ability (allowing you to see perfectly in darkness of any kind, including magical darkness). Mk 4 occult sight grants the ability to see invisible creatures and objects (per see invisibility). Mk 5 occult sight allows you to see into both the Ethereal Plane and Shadow Plane.
Starting with Mk 3 all mythos tentacles with occult sight also grant all-around vision in addition to any active vision options. You see in all directions at once and cannot be flanked.
Occult sight vision options and all-around sight can only be used while the mythos tentacles are extended.
