SPACE INVADERS
Space invaders are a weaponized nanovirus that only functions on a sentient creature without an encephalon cyberdeck implant. Space invaders create a temporary wreck deck allowing the attacker to take over the victim’s body like a host machine.
If you successfully inject a sentient creature with a brain and spine and the subject fails a CON saving throw DC 23 space invader nanites create a temporary wreck deck. Once the wreck deck is established you can attempt a synchronous mode ghost cast in the following round. If the subject fails a EGO save DC 23 their ghost is suppressed, and you gain control of the subject’s body for 1 hour. All synchronous ghost casting and acclimation sickness rules apply. If the subject makes any of the saves, duration expires, or the ghost caster voluntarily releases control of the subject the nanites forming the wreck deck dissolve normally.
Elite space invaders are identical to standard space invaders with the following exceptions; increase CON and EGO saving throw DCs to 27 and extend control of the subject’s body to 12 hours.
