When working with tiny or finely detailed objects you gain a +1 circumstance bonus on Perception checks to search, Engineering skill checks to repair or disable devices, and Medicine checks to identify pathogens (poisons, nanites, and diseases). The advanced optic microscopic increases the circumstance bonus to +3.
