2.10.41 ECD Personality Fragmenting
Transferring a ghost from machine to machine has its risk. Each time a ghost is imprinted on a new machine there is a chance a small portion of the ghost is left behind.
Each time you imprint your ghost on a new encephalon cyberdeck you must make a successful Will save (DC = 11 + the number of your previous imprints) or permanently gain one personality fracturing effect from the TABLE: PERSONALITY FRACTURING.
Double imprinting almost always results in personality fracturing. If you attempt to double imprint you must make a successful Will save (DC = 21 + the number of previous imprints) or permanently gain one personality fracturing effect from the TABLE: PERSONALITY FRACTURING.
Imprinting on a wreckdeck does not count towards the number of previous imprints. However, imprinting on multiple wreckdecks simultaneously still resolves as double imprinting where “the number of previous imprints” is replaced by the number of concurrent ghost copies transferred to wreckdecks.
