Bear Down

When foes attempt to resist your magic, you can redouble your efforts to break their defenses.

Prerequisites: Spellcaster

Benefit: When an enemy succeeds on a saving throw against a spell you cast, or you fail a caster level check to overcome spell resistance, you can spend Edge equal to 1/3 your level (maximum 3) and another spell slot of a level equal to or higher than the cast spell. If you do, either your enemy rerolls their saving throw with a –2 penalty or you reroll your caster level check with a +2 bonus. You must use the new result even if it is worse. You can’t use this ability again until you spend 1 Edge to regain Stamina Points after a 10-minute rest.
