A sheering weapon has impossibly sharp edges, sports jagged serrations, or sharpens its projectiles upon firing for maximum lethality. When you successfully attack a foe with the weapon and the die’s result is 18 or 19, you can spend 1 Edge to apply one of the following critical hit effects the weapon has to the target, though you don’t double the damage: bleed, severe wound, or wound. Only weapons that deal piercing or slashing damage can benefit from this fusion.
