Clearidge Keep
Designed originally as a fort for the forces of Requiem to rally to in an invasion of the Lordless Lands, what would be Fort Sumner was sacked and left to ruin during the disastrous second invasion of the Lands. For decades it sat as a marker of Requiems, and the King Sumners, various missteps and became known as Kings Mistake. The ruin would fester within the woods, used as a smugglers stop point, monsters den, and meeting place for the ner-do-wells of the west. In recent history Kings Mistake was used as a forward encampment for the forces of the Pale Skulls who pillaged and raided western Requiem. A small engagement with a band of adventurers, later known as the Wardens of the West, would remove the bandit forces from the keep.
Within summer of 1475 the Wardens of the West would petition interim Lord of the Hills Olivia Chester for the land that the keep sat atop. Despite being crown owned land, the keep had fallen under the purview of the Lord of the Hills over the years of abandonment. With previous events, the Wardens had developed a friendship in the interim Lord and were able to gain ownership of Kings Mistake.
During events involving magical unrest and an extra-planar threat, Kings Mistake would play host to an eclectic group of mercenaries, legendary adventurers, guild run sell swords, and various individuals associated with the Wardens. While preparing for an oncoming siege, the keep would be renamed Clearidge in honour of a fallen member before tested to see if it's its new name and owners could defend its walls better than the previous.

History
Kings Mistake fell in 1400, when the forces of the Lordless Lands shunted the attempted invasion and pushed into Requiems territory. A brief 3 day battle was fought over Fort Sumner. Its believed King Sumner and Pynar Valra were both present in the keep during the battle, and had to retreat out of a hidden passage when it was overrun.
For years Kings Mistake has sat as a point of small battles, monster dens, and meeting points for those looking for a bit of privacy.
