Falea (fah-LAY-uh)
Falea is a city-state on the west side of the continent Kosmos. It dominates the high mountain valleys at the headwaters of the Potmai (in Fallian) or Nahir (in Janessa) river. It is remarkable for being the only human civilization to successfully repel fey attempts at conquering it, from both the Svartali Confederacy to the east and the Elinnic Empire to the west. Its culture centers around scholarship and monastic-style academic enlightenment, with a wary practicality around its relationship to its fey neighbors.
Demographics
Primarily low-latitude human population, with approximately 10% svartali and a handful of jinn.
