The Planes
The understanding of the planes and how they interact with each other is knowledge that few gain, let alone understand. For simple honest folk they think very little of what is lying just beyond the veil of the material realm. Some people know of the planes, what dwells within them and sometimes how to access them. Few know the true extent of the relationship of their co-existence. How the Feywilde and Shadowfell bleed into the Material Plane, creating vast parodies that contain capricious beings with strange wants and needs. How The Elemental Planes are Just beyond reach, endlessly fusing together yet tearing each other apart in an eternal dance. How some dark places of the world might be best left un-explored, for what wanders those abominable places wants more than your meagre soul. This knowledge is jealously guarded and rarely given.
Some who wander the ever vast depths of the cosmos and its realms may come across the places where death meets life and the places chaos and order meet in perfect harmony, where the gods reside. Either delving into the affairs of those they choose or apathetically toying with those whom be so unlucky to be in their gaze. Others choose to let the natural order flow, not involving themselves in the affairs of mortals. Each looking over the planes of the dead.
