Blood Hunter

After The Sundering and with the influx of darkness that now pervaded through the land, differant groups of like minded people started to create and develop ways to protect themselves from roving monsters and enemy raiding parties. Through dark and arcane means these groups founded the differant schools of the Blood Hunters using ancient rituals that were long thought far too dangerous. Although they fight and strive to protect the people of Aenerion, there are still those who have deamed what they have done as a blasphemy and hunt those that have chosen this dark path for protection. Some towns and cities have chosen to embrace these blood hunters, seeing the value that they can bring in keeping these small havens safe, while others display outright disdain for them; either handing them into those that hunt the hunters or outright "disposing" of them themselves.

Though the Alliance as an entitiy doesn't outright prohibit the very existance of these misunderstood warriors they are held with high suspiscion and it wouldn't take much for the predjudices of the Council of Nikea to outlaw and punish those that bear this half-curse. Only through the continued deeds of herioc individuals and the selfless sacrifice of these Blood Hunters,being a lynchpin in holding back the ever encroaching evil that encompasses the world, they carry favour with those who rule.
