Aasimar

An aasimar is a humanoid with celestial heritage. They often appear to be human or elven but with subtle divine traits, like glowing eyes, metallic skin, or a faint halo. They also possess inherent abilities, like radiant and necrotic damage resistance and healing.

Aasimar typically manifest their celestial spark during childhood through unique features and abilities that can change with their choices, often feeling a pull towards divine purpose. 

In Valoria, aasimar are revered as if they were angels, largely on account of the nation's centuries-old theocracy. It is legally required for all aasimar children in Valoria to study at the Solarium, an exclusive boarding school where they are raised to become the nation's next generation of devine defenders.
