Mirgon
The Temere Wastes have no constant settlements, except for Mirgon. Mirgon is a small city built upon the back of an ancient arcane-mechanical walker. For ages the city has traversed the Temere Wastes, dodging the countless dangers as it harvests what it can to sustain itself.

Government
Mirgon is a technocracy, where the individuals most active in the maintenance of the city are given power.
Defences
The second level of the city is dedicated to defense. It can easily be blocked off from the lower levels. From here the miners and guards can effectively hold off any invaders as the technicians unleash the magical canons and any other techn-arcane marvels.
Industry & Trade
The city moves around until it finds a Xerak Crystals vein, which it then harvests and process on the first level of the city.
Infrastructure
The city is built on a large, mobile platform, approximately 75 meters in diameter. In the center a spire of 10 meter diameter rises, containing a staircase snaking around an elevator. This elevator only stops at the three main floors, but the stairwell allows access to all eight floors.
Guilds and Factions
The Briar and the Fafnir are two faction with the same goal of expanding and securing the wandering city, but are vehemently opposed to their opponents methods. The Briars, lead by the current primarch of the city, Raspip Fizzlespindel, believe that through technological and mechanical inovation the city can be secured against any threats such as the great invasion of eighty-three.
The Fafnir on the other hand propose using the Xerak Crystals to enhance their troops, creating smaller more mobile city platforms as scouts and adopt the fleet tactics of the old Atrua navy.
Architecture
The city is built almost entirely of metal. The central platform is made out of an old, dark grey metal that no one remembers how to make, but is incredibly sturdy. In four directions the metal also extends into four directions on every floor. These black tendrils are approximately one meter wide act as a main street, and additional metal has been welded onto them to create the actual floors.
The whole city has the shape of a water droplet, as the floors become smaller the higher they are. Additionally the city becomes brighter higher up, as more and wood is used in the construction of the structures. This is both to reduce the weight, as well as that the buildings themselves need to carry less weight from the floors above.
