Duurgar

Duurgar is the Nation that has built itself around Drogo Thunka. The land is dotted with countless tombs that are filled with treasure. These treasures are periodically refilled as the monsters seem to reappear.

Assets

The economy of Duurgar is almost nonsensical. Branos is the main trade partner, as Duurgar has no agricultural production. They are forced to trade gold that the residents gain through raiding parties. This alone would not be enough though. Strange tombs and dangerous ruins dot the landscape. These locations have been raided more times than most of the citizens can count, but still they seem to refill themselves both with guardians, as well as treasures. These treasures are the basis of Duurgar's economic system. sometimes they even contain rare and valuable materials that other nations need to produce high grade goods.

Few ever learn the truth, as Drogo Thunka prefers to keep it secret, but the tombs are refilled that periodically open from the shadowfell and the elemental planes. These portals were a gift from Diconom Rex, who wished to make his brother happy.

History

After the Treaty of Arlen Drogo Thunka was forced to choose a home. He was to stay in that area, where he may do what he wished, and only in exceptions, would be allowed to travel the world. This place he chose would become Duurgar.   Through the centuries many came to him. Most died in the arenas. Countless others die from the raiding hoards between the towns controlled by warlords. In time, many have proven themselves worthy. They are given restingplaces in great tombs that become places adventurers can flock to for glory and gold.

Military

Duurgar has no official military, but there are only two classes in the nation. Slaves and free people, and a free person who does not fight or prove himself otherwise usefull becomes a slave. As such the vast majority of the population are capable warriors. Those that arent and are not slaves tend to be traders or skilled individual whoes enslavement would be counterproductive.
