The Giant Crusades

The crusades of the giants in the name of Annam in order to form a mighty empire. The crusades eventually evolved into a quest to destroy the Draconic Inquisition.

The Giant Crusades were begun by a storm giant, Skemius thunderbones, who witnessed an omen he interpreted as a call for war by Annam. Nearly all of Giantkind began warring with everything nearby, namely the Draconic Inquisition due to its vast amount of land. The giants took much of the territory of other civilizations and of the Draconic Inquisition. One of the civilizations, the Venari humans, forged a pact with the giants later known as the warforge pact. This pact created the warforged, which the giants then utilized as a slave race. The Crusades ended when the Draconic Inquisition finally fell, but the Giant empire did not last very long before civil war ended it.
