The Draconic Inquisition began with Zal'zozh, the great blue dragon, led a vast acquisition of territory for dragonkind under the excuse that all the dragon gods had willed it. Both metallic and chromatic dragons participated. Due to the power of the dragons, they managed to control Khafringa, Southern Faecrosti, and the Glaive coast in Keniza. The inquisition first began its fall during the draconic civil war. Tiamat and Bahamut had battled at the celestial level and created the dragonborn, which the dragons took as a slave race for a few hundred years. The inquisition was divided, but still powerful. The second blow came from the Giant Crusades. The Giants at the time were attempting to take as much land as possible, and since the inquisition controlled most of the world, they naturally came into conflict. The inquisition was evenly matched with the giants due to the civil war weakening them. One of the final blows to the Draconic Inquisition is the dragonborn rebellion. The dragonborn united against their dragon masters and managed to leave their rule with the help of the warforged.
