Moviris
Moviris is the land of the Movir, a people as hardy as the Northern climate they hail from. Moviris isn't a unified country, but a large sect of land too cold for most empires to desire. The people are broken up into many separate tribes, each of which has its own religion and sub-culture. Most tribes have a chieftain chosen by the tribe either democratically or by whatever skill the tribe values most. Each tribe is also separated technologically and linguistically. Some tribes are nomadic, pitching large tents made of the hide of aurochs while hunting herds of prey. Other tribes carve huge fortresses out of glaciers and mountains, erecting testaments to their achievements. The most well-known of these fortresses is Blackgate, a city named, of course for its huge walls and gate. Moviris is the only part of the known world where járnsýra can be found, and also the only place where you can find smiths to work the material. The people of Moviris may be strong, but their homeland is full of some of the most dangerous creatures in the world. The death count for Movir is incredibly high, yet this contributes to their society and is often incorporated into their cultures and religions. A common Movir sentiment is that "If they were weak enough to be killed, then they didn't deserve to live"
