Movir
The Movir are a hardy people. Native to the Frozen North of Faecrosti, they are accustomed to the cold and hardship. Culturally, they value personal strength, and also altruism. Every individual must pull their own weight, and what they don't need goes to the collective. Those who can't survive on their own deserve help from others. They also believe in law and honor, for if can't trust in your brother's words, how can you trust in their sword? Movir also place a significant taboo on killing members of one's group, so when someone is too weak to pull their own weight they are exiled. If they survive exile, they have proved themselves worthy. Movir native to their homeland often worship no gods, believing more in each other and themselves than any outside force. They do, however, honor chwinga, dryads, and nyads, for nature's wrath is dangerous and her favor desirable. Movir have light skin and very blonde hair. Their eyes are often purely black or grey. It is believed that Goliaths are descended from Movir that broke off to live in isolation on the mountains of the world or that goliaths have intermingled with Movir.
