The Twelve Tribes of Ferran
Canan'ats
While the tribes have rarely communicate amongst each other, when the need arises, a Canan'at is called. A Canan'at is a meeting of all tribal leaders, they are to meet in an ancient grotto formed into the face of a mountain found in the southernmost point of the northern mountains to discuss whatever matters are demanded.

Some tribes, such as the Uttan having no living members left are still revered among the Ferrani as important to tribal matters, that their souls still linger amongst the sands and that debts, even in death would still be paid.
The Tribe of Manan
The Tribe of San'at
The San'ati are known for patrolling the southern mountains in and around the area of Sunder Gate.
The Tribe of Embra'at
The Embra'ati are unique among the twelve tribes for being matriarchal which they were forced to do after a period of conflict with the neigbhoring Manani tribal members, the victorious Manani held every man and boy prisoner. It was only after a sneak attack led by the Embra'ati Chief's Wife were they rescued. In the aftermath of the battle, the chief, so enamored by his wife's impressive performance in battle was he, that rule over the tribe was given to his wife.
The Tribe of Tradhoum
Situated on the southwestern desert, the Tradhoum hold the Beast of Shah'ha'dan in great reverence and have been known to leave herds of goats in the open to feed the beast.
The Tradhoum adorn themselves in clay markings that is found near the western coast of the Ferran Desert.
The Tribe of Kanan'abir

The Tribe of Effret
A now extinct tribe, The nomadic Effreti were known to travel the mountainous dunes of Ferran hunting venomous creatures, extracting their poisons to sell. While they almost exclusively sold their wares to passing caravans, they had also been known to use their poisons in self defense, but never to attack though, as they were all too familiar with the horrors it can inflict. They would leave that burden to those who might have purchased their stock. As a result of their trade, they had been known amongst the tribes as The Purveyors of Poison.
When Aman'Yok had been poisoned by a Ferrani, it was Effreti poison that was used. The Sworn Knights of the Edict marched across the Ferran Desert killing every man, woman & child in blind retribution for their actions.
The Tribe of Banar'at
The Banar'at were wiped out following The Ferran War of 1130.
The Tribe of Al'ab
Little is known of the tribe of Al'Ab as they were largely wiped out centuries past when they had encroached on the territories of Tradhoum and Uttan and have never recovered their numbers in the centuries since.

The Uttan were wiped out following The Ferran War of 1130.
The Tribe of Aman'abir
The tribe of Aman'abir are situated on the eastern fringes of the desert sands near to Enekraad. Their close proximity has resulted in the tribe converting to the faith of the Aman
