The Kingdom of Festinian, also known as Festinian's Kingdom, is one of the three great scions from the old Kirshani Empire alongside the Calpurnian Kingdom and Kingdom of Aminum. Named after it's founder Festinian Kantor, the Kingdom has often been regarded as the middle child of the three brother states. More stable and prosperous than the oft tumultuous Calpurnia, but always paler in comparison to the wealth and glory of the Aminum.
Originally the smallest of the three successor states, King Festinian took advantage of the instability of Calpurnia and invaded the lands south of Forest's End while they were in the midst of their first civil war.

The Trials of Kirshall & The Invasion of Calpurnia (604-623)
Born from the out of the ashes of the Kirshall Empire and the conqueror's empire of Benalon I Ulanala, the Kingdom of Festinian is one of the three heirs to Kirshall alongside the Kingdom of Aminum and the Calpurnian Kingdom, whose past histories still intertwine now long after their divergence.
In the chaos following the death of Benalon II Ulanala in 601 and the collapse of the Illalori Empire the Kingdom was the first to pull itself together thanks to the help of Festinian Kantor, who would be crowned king in the wake of the chaos. Festinian had

Purging The Forests, The Decades of Blood & The Death of Aman'Yok (998-1134)
As with the Calpurnian Kingdom and Kingdom of Aminum, the Festinian Kingdom took part in the Grand Tournament of 1102, sending Sir Garael of The Knights Resplendent as the Kingdom's champion. Despite valiance, Sir Garael would ultimately be bested by Sir Tiber of Calpurnia in the last day of the Grand Melee

The Woodswalkers
The Woodswalkers stalk the shadowed forests of the kingdom, masters of bow, arrow, and blade, they have led the Festinian Crusade against the Satyrs since their formation in 885.
The Knights Resplendent
The wide open grasslands of the northern Kirshallan lands has lead to a culture of cavalrymen. For the Festinians, this grew to become The Knights Resplendent, an order of lancers under the direct command of the king . Bedecked in in White-Gold Tabards with Ram's Head Helmets, the Knights Resplendent have long been a relief to the smallfolk and scourge to any bandits, goblins or beasts that they might encounter.
Trade & Transport
The Forestroad
The Forestroad is the sole link road that links the northern half of the Festinian Kingdom to the Southern half. The road was built between 913 and 919 and was only possible after the collapse of relations between the Kingdom and the Satyrs of the forest as the road demanded the rooting out of any Satyrs in the forest.
Conflict with the Satyrs was inevitable because of this and The Rangers
