Cypress Wellspring

Cypress Wellspring is a sinkhole/blue hole/ potentially underwater volcano in the very East of Eskern, it is a major source of organic matter such as ghostcranes and other mutated bacteria which supplies a large amount of hunting game. But due to the constant algal blooms, which are toxic and oten devastate the area, there is strict controls on what weather is safe to hunt. There is a nearby island that is part of Cypress Islands Township and it is home to a lot of houses with boats, relying on the nearby wellspring as a source of their livelihood, and they have adapted to its extreme ways.,

There is a group of Kubeleya, primarily Dolomedes, as well as Myacoris, particularly Chaoborid and Kylyon. Pompila sometimes are born there, but they are often hunted out of the area, as their parents often feed them the drowned bodies of inhabitants. Loumieres are also commmon residents, and there are deep sea Loumieres who seem to travel through underwater caverns - it's rumored that there is some link to the Outpost at the bottom of the "Well".

This is a common tourist spot for visitors from Pestilentia and South Wychazel, as those who live in other parts of Eskern know better than visit the Wellspring for fun. For them, a htunting day at the Wellspring is a daunting task which takes tons of preparation as well as a permit for those outside of Eskern East and sometimes it is even restricted to residents of Cypress Islands. There is a Brine Court of Brackish Waters there that serves as a weather forecaster and research centre for the area, manned by people who sometimes compete in the Catu Samonii and partner with the Court in Caer Coed to forecast the weather year round.
