Peshore e Drejtësisë - Justice Scaleblades

Translated into Common, these blades are known as Scales of Justice or Justice Scaleblades. They are the preferred weapon of the Knights of the Two Judges, the Holy Order dedicated to Kreshnik-Ilir and Bardhyll-Kejsi, Gods of the Draconic Pantheon. While the swords are most commonly associated with these knights, some examples of them exist in the hands of collectors around the world. These Scaleblades are rarely a cause for concern amongst the Knights, as only Dragonkin or an individual with a Draconic bloodline can use their power. However, there have been instances where Knights will take back swords that are being misused by their current owners, or where the sword's original owner (for whom they are specially crafted) is still alive.

Scaleblades are typically hand-and-a-half longswords with a wider-than-average blade of approximately 4 and 1/2 inches and being significantly heavier than most blades of their type. Both the blade and grip are patterned with dragonscales, while the crossguard is shaped like the arms of a set of weighing scales. The colours of the swords vary depending on which of the Dragon Gods the Knights follow: black and red for Bardhyll-Kejsi, or purple and white for Kreshnik-Ilir. Very rarely, Scaleblades are made sized for Kobolds.

The Scaleblades are exceedingly sharp and tough, infused with magic to increase their potency. They have the ability to create a Circle of Truth or can be used to subtly detect lies by pointing the blade downward and focusing on the target, then watching the crossguard to see if it moves. If it does, it means that a lie has been detected. Each sword is also able to cast the Light spell.
