Neiven
First Mate Neifion Aven (a.k.a. Neiven)
Crude, mouthy and chaotic, Neiven is a lifelong sailor who enjoys teasing others and causing mayhem wherever he goes. A mentally high-functioning drunk, he is sharp tongued and even sharper with his crossbow, as well as having honed his natural Tayaar abilities to near completion. Despite his frivolous and often questionable tongue, Neiven is intelligent and extremely perceptive, as well as a caring person who will do anything necessary to protect his friends and those he considers family. He is openly pansexual and likes to torment his friend, the Changeling Neyon, with cheeky questions about anatomy.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Neiven is physically lean and wiry, as well as fleet footed and light fingered. He is agile and flexible, able to move about a ship's rigging with ease, and he has a high tolerance for alcohol.
Physical quirks
His curly hair is kept cropped short, as it tends to float about with a mind of its own, and shifts through tones of white, pale blue and pink. This is likely due to his Tayaar Ginnaya Heritage, as it embodies traits of Elemental Air.

Neiven identifies as Pansexual and has often engaged in multi-partner activities. He is confident and comfortable with his sexuality and is very open about it when asked.

Contacts & Relations
As the First Mate of the Midnight Steel, Neiven has links to numerous members of other ships across the Platinum Wolf Trading Company, as well as the Fleet of the Dragon of the West at large. He is known to have close relations with members of the Ironsea Estate House Guard, where he temporarily lived during the annexation of Fuldair and the impounding of the Midnight Steel.
Since 1478, Neiven is known to have been in a long-term relationship with the Moon Elf, Bethrynna Moonflower. Their relationship is a consensual open one, though Neiven has often stated that Beth is his one true love; the only thing keeping them from making their relationship monogamous is their jobs.
