June-y Through Time
The Challenge
I decided to join in on Tynen 's challenge on something of a whim, as I hadn't been focusing on my Timeline at all for one reason or another. I figured it would get the old noggin' going though, so here I am! The challenge is about putting the spotlight on Timelines and encouraging folks to make use of them.
My Timelines
I currently have two timelines showing on my World: one for the entirety of the 6th Age of A'arde, which is meant to show major events across the world, and the timeline of the Occupation of Fuldair, which goes into more detail of that particular time in the history of Fuldair, Curtana.
For this challenge, and as the Occupation of Fuldair is technically a Chronicle and not a Timeline, I have decided to stick with my main timeline, as I would like to expand with some general worldbuilding rather than specific or detailed.
Timeline Additions and Revisions
Stoneplague Epidemic in Aeverbridge - New Addition
Beginning of the Age of Redemption - Revision; Description added, date clarified
Establishment of the Fuldair Sailors' School - New Addition
Grimbone is Slain - New Addition
Election of Aelyx Everbright - New Addition
Start of the War of Countless Faces - New Addition
The Start of the Sea Blockade of Sempervirentis - New Addition
The Annexation of Fuldair - New Addition
Official Establishment of the Blue Wolf Mercenary Group - New Addition
First Recorded Mention of "Harbinger" - New Addition
Conclusion
I ultimately chose these events to add because they have been relevant or have been mentioned during my D&D campaigns, which are set within my world. I thought it would be nice to commemorate these mentions in the timeline, however it took me longer than anticipated to find the right session notes with the dates, etc, within them! This has also led me to the conclusion that I need to rewrite or add some of the articles related to these events as soon as possible!
