Ehramaira
Also known as "The Ender" (the literal translation of its True A'arden name) or "The Blade of the Reaper", Ehramaira is the weapon and tool of Ankou the Reaper, the psychopomp of the True A'arden Pantheon. Both a sword (specifically a scythesword) and a scythe, Ehramaira is capable of shifting form depending on the desires of the Reaper. It is said that the bones that make up the weapon are fossils from creatures that existed long before the Titan War, and are thus relics from The Time Before Renewal.
In both forms, the blade of Ehramaira is composed of vertebrae approximately two inches wide and featuring a prominent bladed "fin" on the interior curve. The tang area of the blade features a large ammonite which is not fixed to a grip. Instead, the ammonite acts as a magical hinge and connection point, allowing the blade to rotate around its grip. While both forms of Ehramaira feature a wishbone-like connection point which glows with green and red light, the sword form has a grip that appears like a series of fused vertebrae, while the scythe handle appears to be some kind of giant rib with boney protrusions.
Ehramaira is known to kill or injure without leaving a physical mark on the body, and is capable of severing the Soul Cord, marking it as a "Soul Cutter" weapon. It gives off a faint glow in low light conditions, and is capable of draining vitality from targets without needing to physically hit them. It is said that few Mortals can touch the weapon without being overwhelmed by it.
History
Ehramaira was created at the Ascension of Ankou, where they became the psychopomp God of the Call of Death. Myth has it that Ankou was some kind of archeologist before the Titan War, and the use of fossilised bones to form their weapon was a reflection of those origins.
Significance
Ehramaira is a Godly weapon and is considered a symbol of the inevitability of death.
