Echo and Amnesia

A pair of daggers, Echo and Amnesia are collectively known as the Memory Blades due to their ability to "remember" and "nullify" magical effects. Originally crafted for use by a Chronomancy Mage fighting against Fiends during the Age of Chaos, Echo and Amnesia are now equally coveted by Mageslayers, Bards, and Adventurers seeking glory in ancient magical structures.

The blades are short, and shaped like the hands of an elaborate clock, with Echo being slightly longer than Amnesia. They are both a brassy-gold in colour and have a black leather grips accented in red.

Each blade can be used as an Arcane Focus, and they do not need to be wielded together unless their major ability is used. This ability allows the wielder to perform a form of Time Stop, though it requires knowledge and skill to work properly. Echo is able to capture spells that have been cast, and allow the wielder to recast them at a later date. This can be done by a willing spellcaster if required, but it can only hold a limited amount of power at any one time. Amnesia is able to nullify magic in the form of a Dispel or Counterspell, though it is only able to do this a limited number of times.
