Isgerd

Appearance

 

Gilmerth

In her natural habitat, Isgerd is a humanoid creature made up of branches and roots that can move effortlessly along the forest floor. She also takes the shape of random forest animals and is almost always accompanied by her pet unicorn.  

Eraba

When collecting teeth, Isgerd appears as a small scrawny creature, about 6"-7" tall, in order to slip through narrow gaps to allow her to retrieve children's fallen teeth.
If spotted, to hide her identity, she would appear to be a frightful, dark pixie. This can vary from having a large head filled with teeth and hollow eyes. This is mainly to avoid being followed and having her treasure of teeth stolen.    When roaming the forests, she is often indistinguishable from a Dryad and other times takes the form of a bear. When seeing one of these two, if there is a unicorn closeby, then you have found Isgerd.   If Isgerd feels that the forests are under threat, then she would appear as a much darker, menacing creature. She would take on her appearance from Gilmerth and use a skull from a fallen creature. She also adds teeth to the branches to suggest mouths all over her body in order to make the appearance even more frightful. She would then use this to scare away the threat.
