The First Migration
The First Great Migration was nothing short of a calamity. Panic gripped the masses, and the strong preyed upon the weak. The Dragonborn, with their disciplined ranks and ironclad will, quickly assumed control of the situation, their legions securing the portals and organizing the masses. The powerful, those with wealth and influence, were the first to seize the opportunity. But even they were not immune to the chaos—many were cut down by desperate mobs, their wealth and status meaningless in the face of extinction and even those who survived left behind a power vacuum never experienced in the known history of the world.
In the aftermath, society crumbled. The old order was gone, replaced by a brutal hierarchy where survival was the only currency. The Dragonborn clans, under the leadership of the newly crowned Sultan, became the de facto rulers, their strength providing the only semblance of stability in a world falling apart.
The Dragonborn were not immediately the political class. The old class migrated, taking all wealth, weapons, knowledge and might with them. Anything they deemed useful or important for not only their survival of their health but their power as well.
in this vacume the Dragonborn rose. Focused on trying to protect or help the majority survive. If they had to heavily militise to do so. Many forget this brutality, as the world was brutal but it was survivable with the Dragonborn. Something many remember with respect and awe.
