Mareford

Mareford is a small hamlet situated at the edge of an ancient forest, with two clear streams running through it. The houses are spread out along a central dirt road that winds through the village, leading to The Shadowed Oak Inn at one end and the forest at the other.

The streams provide fresh water and support a vibrant ecosystem, contributing to the hamlet's self-sufficiency.   Ran by a council of family heads, usually with any split vote given over to Hilda Thornberry or calling a magistrate from Castle of Ætherwald
