History
Following the Xinhai in 1911 overthrowing the Qing Empire, The Republic was founded. However, to support the revolution, local warlords were given a great deal of power, and the country quickly fell into chaos as the warlords fought amongst themselves. The Kuomintang party managed to take control of the government with the goal of restoring the country to order in the 1920s. In 1932, the Empire of Japan began an invasion of China Prompting the creation of the Chinese United Front, during which all Chinese factions united to fight the Japanese invasion. In 1945, AFter the defeat of Japan at the end of World War II, the civil war reopened between the Republic of China and the Communism People's Republic of China. in 1950, The Republic of China fled to the island of Taiwan, where it would remain for over a century. The Republic of China, at this point, was a dictatorship. But Democracy came to the Republic in the 1980s. The First Woman to be elected as president was elected in 2016. In 2064, After the outbreak of World War IV, Taiwan was invaded by the People's Republic of China. The Locals held up guerilla warfare to defend their island until their allies drove back the PRC forces in 2066. In 2067, after the battle of Hangzhou, The Republic of China began its reconquest of the mainland. In October of the that year, it would Join the 1st Terran Republic and Reform into the New Republic of China.
Disbandment
It was Reformed into the New Republic of China in 2067 after joining the 1st Terran Republic.
