History

Miami was incorporated in 1896. It would quickly rise to become one of the largest cities in the USA by 1920. By the 1990s, Miami was one of the largest cities in the USA. But hurricanes (in part caused by the climate crisis of the 21st century) resulted in The city facing constant destruction. In 2031, The city was hit by a major hurricane, Which permanently flooded the coastal areas of the city and destroyed what was left. Miami was destroyed.

Geography

Miami was built on the Florida coast at the mouth of the Miami River. Due to its position in the already low-lying Florida, It was easy for the city to be wiped out by a hurricane in 2031. About half the city currently lies underwater.
