Europe

Europe is one of the smallest continents on Earth. It is almost completely forested. It resembled a large peninsula coming off of western Asia with several smaller peninsulas breaking off from it. Some notable peninsulas include The Italian, the Iberian, The Balkan, The Scandinavian, Jutland, and Brittany. Most peninsulas are also home to a mountain range either on the peninsula or marking where it begins. These include The Kjolens in Scandinavia, The Alps in Italia, The Pyrenees in Iberia, and the Carpathians in The Balkans. To the northeast of the continent lies the British Isles, Which consists of two main isles, Ireland and Great Britain, with Great Britain being the larger isle. To the north of the continent, there are a few sparsely inhabited islands, Which include Iceland, Faeroe, and Svalbard. To the south in the Mediterranean sea, there are several more islands, such as Sicilia, Sardinia, Corsica, Crete, Cyprus, Malta, and Mallorca.

Europe was home to civilizations as early as 2000 BCE. These were the Minoans, on the Island of Crete. Between 100 BCE and 376 CE, The Roman Empire dominated the southern and western parts of the continent, before being destroyed by its enemies who would go on to found many kingdoms. The Continent's nations would become the dominant global powers in the world from the 16th to 20th centuries, at which point rising powers in other continents combined with two world wars starting in the continent resulted in the European Powers decline. As a solution, and to prevent future conflict on the continent, an organization known as the European Union came into existence. In the 21st century, a Third World war started on the continent which resulted in an even more united Europe in the aftermath. Europe would fall into chaos between 2117-2159 after the collapse of the 1st Republic and was restored to order in 2159 by the PTI. Europe was one of the first continents to overthrow the dictatorship and create the 2nd Republic in 2175. Europe remains stable to this day.
