Ferrum Virginis (the Iron Maiden, Berini version)
Goddess of craftsmanship Ferra
The Ferrum Virginis, which literally translates to "Iron Maiden" was the goddess of craftsmanship in Berini mythology starting in the 6th century B.B. She is an adaptation of the Aes Virginis (a.k.a "Bronze Maiden") as working with iron was more difficult at the time and was gaining slight popularity (there were several copper and tin deposits along the Berinus so bronze put up a hell of a fight before fading away). The Iron maiden also developed in other regions independently, namely in various Tri-River ethnic groups like the Gurbazi and Ubari as craftsmanship was considered beautiful throughout many regions and was sometimes associated with a woman's beauty like with the Berini and Gurbazi.
