April Short List and Winner
As a guest judge for this year's April Challenge, I'd like to first apologize for the delay in judging and thank you all for your patience. Congratulations and a huge thank you to all participants for enriching their world with art. There were some truly fantastic works that I would like to recommend to you all, but here are my favorite articles.
Number 5!
What could better represent this challenge than Leijona's goddess of art herself, who has more than just bright sides? I, for one, would worship her and would love to be part of the festivities to experience the interplay of two different arts. Perhaps she'll whisper something in your ear, too?
Number 4!
Imagica takes us on an instrumental journey that's worth listening to. It's fantastic how the music fits the content and beautifully underscores the unique instrument. A beautiful piece of world-building that you shouldn't miss.
Number 3!
Just let the content in Tyrdal's article take you away into a wonderful narrative tradition that works entirely without images - because here the way the story was written will put the images of sand in your head.
Number 2!
It's amazing how many different art forms exist in the world of Demongrey's Million Islands, and the fact that they all somehow function with magic is what makes it so interesting. This world has truly been kissed by the muse, and that's what I wanted for the challenge. Step inside and be inspired, too.
The Winner!!
Even though this article by Nightone is in German, it deserves much more love of the community. With humor and attention to detail, the rendition of the piece and its plot, which is unmistakably an homage to an earthly "piece" and famous artists, have been wonderfully integrated into the world of Irda. It would be great to see this piece live sometime! Please use an addon to translate the content. You really have to read it! Congratulations on winning.
Thanks for including the Power of Art on your shortlist!
It was my pleasure ;).
