12 in 12 Challenge Main Page

We, as a combined effort, plan to run a challenge lasting the whole year, but each month will feature a different theme and prompt! With the aid of amazing members of the community, each month with have a new guest judge with different criteria of what they're looking for. It is also not our intention to limit anyone, so while a lot of the prompts will be aimed towards world-building or expanding your world, they may also inspire you to write prose or make art. Any of those are acceptable as entries~! Our ultimate goal is to help everyone expand their world in a fun and creative way.

The idea behind this challenge comes from the passive sub-challenge running alongside it. "365 in 365". Each month will provide you with a new prompt, inspired and created by one of the Guest Judges.
The challenge will begin on the 1st of every month and will run the whole month. The cut off day for entries will be the last day over every month. The shortlist for each month will be created by the 10th of the following month, and the the winners will be announced on the 14th. Winners will get a shiny badge, designed by our very own CoolG!
There is, in fact, a passive challenge that is associated with this full month-to-month challenge. 365 in 365 is all about putting things out into the world. The plan is to post something each day, at minimum just one article or art per day, and keep it up for the whole year. This is inspired by Demongrey!

I know its half the reason we're all here, so I won't deny; Yes, we have badges! Lots and lots of badges. Each month will have a different badge associated with it, so you can certainly collect them all!

Each judge will have different things they're looking for in particular, but the overall idea is to make this either about the art itself or the writing. CSS will not be a determining factor unless the article is unreadable because of it. While designs may be very cool, we still want to put the emphasis on the work you all do writing the articles!
