Perhaps you are the Master-at-Arms, a fierce Champion, or a vigilant Bodyguard serving in this Faction. Typically, a Warrior is the best fighter in the Faction, often having mastered several weapons and fighting styles as well as the theory of troop movements, morale and sieges or raids. Whether you choose to become a protector or destroyer is up to you.
The Warrior counts the following skills as career skills: Discipline , Resilience , Riding , Unarmed , Melee: light , Melee: heavy , Coercion.knowledge: siege . Before spending experience during character creation, a Warrior may choose four of their career skills and gain one rank in each of them.
More then a mere duel, a Tourney is a martial challenge laid down by the greatest warrior of the faction, and to refuse is to show weakness.
If the challenged character accepts, both make three rolls with any combat skill - the winner of each round inflicts a Mundane Critical on the loser.
If the challenged character refuses, both make a single roll with any social skill - the winner inflicts a Social Critical on the loser. If the challenged character loses this it is rounded up to the next Scandal.
