Dracoliths

The Dracoliths are the mortal descendants of the ancient bond between dragons and humans, infused with draconic essence that shapes their physical traits and grants them innate control over elemental energies. This legacy ties them deeply to the natural forces of the world, from flame and storm to stone and ice.

Dracoliths vary greatly in appearance, often displaying draconic features such as scaled skin, claw-like nails, slit-pupil eyes, or horns. Their elemental resilience and power make them formidable warriors, insightful leaders, or disciplined monks.

Most Dracoliths take pride in their heritage, honoring traditions passed down through ancient bloodlines. They are known for their strength, wisdom, and unwavering resolve, though some struggle with the raw, untamed instincts inherited from their draconic ancestors.

While most Dracoliths are humanoid, a rare and near-mythical subrace known as the Purebloods are said to possess the ability to transform into full dragons. Their existence is so rare that many consider them little more than legend.

  • Mixed Heritage. Your bloodline is not purely Draconic— it is shaped by other ancestries. This mix manifests in unique physical or magical traits. Choose two racial traits from another race and Subrace, representing your mixed heritage. You cannot select Ability Score Increases in this way. If one of the chosen traits is similar to a trait you already possess (such as Darkvision or a resistance), only the stronger version of the two applies. Traits that grant spellcasting use your Intelligence as the spellcasting ability, unless otherwise stated. The DM has final approval on trait combinations to ensure balance within the campaign.
  • Draconic Ancestry. You are distantly related to a particular kind of dragon. Choose a type of dragon from the below list; this determines the damage and area of your breath weapon, and the type of resistance you gain.
