With zen like calm, the magician touches a target that makes an intelligence DC savings throw or take 2d6 + magician's proficiency bonus in magical piercing damage and be affected by the spasmic condition which lasts in turns equal to the magician's proficiency bonus.   On a successful save the target takes half damage and is affected by the spasmic condition until the end of the targets next turn. If the save was successful, once the target is no longer affected by the spasmic condition caused by Eldar Nerve Pinch, the target is immune to the spasmic condition caused by this spell for a number of turns equal to its proficiency bonus.  
At higher levels: When Eldar Nerve Pinch is cast using a spell slot of 2nd Level or higher, the spell creates deals an additional d6 damage for each slot above 1st and the spasmic condition lasts one additional turn per two spell slots above first.
