Uslu's Shadow Wall

7-level Necromancy

Ritual - does not require spell slot, takes 10 minutes longer
Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 120"
Components: Verbal, Somatic, Material
Materials: Small Black Onyx
Duration: Concentration (maximum 10 minutes)
Reaching alternately into the Shadowfel and the Void, the necromancer brings a wall of thick, moving, life-negative shadows into existence.   The wall appears in range and doesn't require a solid surface. Uslu's Shadow Wall creates up to 30 shadow/void cubes with a volume of of 10"x10"x10" that can be arranged in any formation within range as long as each cube has a full 10"x10" surface in contact with another cube.   Once inside Uslu's Shadow Wall, sight is reduced to 5" dim light and darkvision is reduced to 10".   Movement through Uslu's Shadow Wall counts as difficult terrain as the sentient shadowfell combines with the Void to bump and buffer at a creature's very being. To move 10" through the wall a target must make a DC intelligence savings throw. If unsuccessful the creature takes necrotic damage equal to 2x the magician's proficiency bonus in necrotic damage, has their strength temporarily reduced by half the magician's proficiency bonus (round down) and their movement reduced by half. On a successful savings throw an individual takes necrotic damage equal to the magician's proficiency bonus, reduces their strength temporarily by 1 and does not have their movement reduced any further.   This spell cannot reduce strength to 0.   Temporary strength loss recovers at the rate of 2 hp per round outside of Uslu's Shadow Wall.
