Appearance
Physical Description
Quallin'ithra is of roughly average height for a drow elf and has a slender, delicate physique. Her shoulders and hips are every so slightly wider than her waist and her bust stands out just enough to make it possible to tell that she is a grown woman and not a child.
Facial Features
Quallin'ithra's once delicate facial features have been hardened by nearly 200 years of life in the underdark and they are all but obscured by the charcoal color of her skin that seems to swallow all light.
She has a narrow face with high cheekbones, large eyes that seem to be squinted ever so slightly, and straight eyebrows that always appear a little bit furrowed.
Equally, her full lips seem to always be on the verge of a disapproving scowl and lines have started to form from the edges of her nostrils to the corners of her mouth, aging her face by a few years.
Identifying Characteristics
Quallin'ithra has a number of notable scars, two of which are quite obvious: A horizontal scar that goes over the bridge of her nose and her left cheek and a second deep one that goes horizontally across her neck.
Less notable are a burn-scar in the palm of her right hand, a stab scar right below the right side of her rib-cage and a number of well-healed scars all across her body.
However, the most notable feature is probably the circular tattoo on the left side of the drow's chest that consists of the words "The eternal agreement set out below governs Quallin'ithra Auvryvyrr's use of infernal power bestowed by Archdevil Zariel." in infernal runes and Zariel's sigil in the middle. The entire tattoo is a deep red and emanates an ever so faint orange glow from the fires of Avernus.
Apparel & Accessories
When travelling or otherwise expecting a fight, Quallin'ithra wears armor fashioned from the scales and leather of giant lizards. Her suit of armor fits her like a second skin and offers more protection than regular leather armor would, without impairing her movement.
In her free time, Quallin'ithra dons a traditional drow dress fashioned from dark turquoise silk that doesn't leave a lot for the imagination. While her most intimate parts are covered, a big window in the fabric gives full view of the Warlock's stomach and sternum, and her thighs and lower legs are fully exposed.
Matching with the dress, she possesses a dark turquoise cloak with a heavy cowl that she can use to protect herself from the elements and the sun's light. Her footwear consists of a pair of sandals that are fastened to her feet with leather straps that cross over her foot twice, behind it once and go halfway up her calf in a crisscross pattern.
Mentality
Personal history
Quallin'ithra had it all.
As the eldest daughter of one of the most influential noble house and a cleric to the spider queen, she wished for little else other than to further her abilities and her house's influence.
Her next younger sister Sinriia'na, however, had other plans and made it appear as if she had betrayed Lolth's teaching by orchestrating the death of one of the giant spiders in the house's care and putting the blame on Quallin'ithra.
With the Matron Mother convinced she had betrayed Lloth's teaching's, Quallin'ithra was forced to flee Myth Ahnvae for her own safety.
Althought she prayed to Lolth for aid and guidance, Quallin'ithra's pleas went unanswered for many tendays, until the disgraced Cleric, abandoned by both her alllies and her goddess, denounced her faith and turned towards a new source of arcane power: An archdevil.
Promising her soul in return, Quallin'ithra received infernal powers from Zariel and became a warlock of the fiend, travelling the surface; hellsbent on amassing the power and allies necessary to enact revenge on those who betrayed and abandoned her.
Education
Being born into a noble house, Quallin'ithra had a more than decent education. However, probably not surprisingly, her education was more focused on Lolth's teachings, navigating the complex social hierarchy of the drow and how to manipulate people into doing what you want, rather than learning about the wider history of Toril and Faerûn or social structures outside of the underdark.
Other than that, she learned how to survive in the wilder part of the underdark, how to remain unseen and unheard, the use of some martial weapons such as hand crossbows, rapiers and shortswords, and due to a personal interest, the Infernal language in writing and speaking as well as wider infernal lore.
Employment
Quallin'ithra was still a child by elven standards when she was initiated into the clergy of Lolth and taught her first spells.
From then on, she served her goddess first as an initiate, then an acolyte, then a priestess and finally as a high priestess of Lolth. As such, she led her younger sisters in prayer and oversaw the religious ceremonies around the birth of new family members, as well as sacrificing the third and forth son her mother gave birth to.
Mental Trauma
After Sinriia'na executed her plot, Quallin'ithra turned to her faith in her goddess Lolth for strength and guidance, convinced that the spider queen would give her the means to enact revenge on her treacherous sister.
Expecting to feel the familiar presence of her goddess, the cleric was shocked to find her prayers unanswered and tried again and again for days on end, praying from the moment she awoke to her trance to the time exhaustion overtook her.
Eventually, weakened from days filled with prayer, where she only allowed herself to stop long enough to conjure food and water when she absolutely couldn't go without anymore, Quallin'ithra couldn't deny it any longer: Whether it was disappointment over her failing to uncover and disrupt her sister's plot or simple indifference, she had fallen out of Lolth's good graces.
This experience has left Quallin'ithra convinced that one would be foolish to place their fate in the hands of gods and with a deep distain for religious practices.
She denounced her goddess, sealed her breaking off from the faith with the killing of a giant spider and a vow to make both the Spider Queen and house Auvryvyrr pay for their betrayal.
It was that day, when she felt her unholy powers getting stripped away and her strength being sapped out of her body as if a part of her very being had been ripped to shreds.
Morality & Philosophy
Having been raised in the underdark, Quallin'ithra strongly believes in the mantra "Might makes right" and has lived by it for many years. She doesn't believe there is anything wrong in keeping slaves or taking what you want from those weaker than you, and in her eyes, theft, deception and murder are perfectly acceptable ways to achieve your goals.
However, different from many of her kind, Quallin'ithra doesn't believe in pointless cruelty. Hurting a slave for fun or terrorizing a subordinate is a waste of energy that breeds contempt and could lead to a betrayal that could easily spell one's downfall.
Rather, Quallin'ithra has always believed in a strict, but deliberate style of leadership, where mistakes are punished accordingly and extraordinary feats are acknowledged and rewarded.
person.sexuality
While Quallin'ithra is attracted to both males and females, experience has taught her that she enjoys laying with females far over the alternative.
She generally isn't against having a bit of fun, but much prefers having a romantic relationship with the person she's getting intimate with.
Known Languages
Common
Quallin'ithra is fluent in common in word and writing.
Drow
Drow is Quallin'ithra's mother tongue. She speaks the Myth Ahnvae dialect and is equally fluent in the silent sign language of the drow.
Infernal
Quallin'ithra is mostly fluent in infernal, though her pronunciation can sometimes be a bit spotty.
Personality
Motivation
Quallin'ithra's main motivation is to enact revenge on both her noble house and the goddess Lolth. Since taking revenge on a goddess is no easy feat, she needs to build alliances and expand her abilities.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Quallin'ithra is a decent dragonchess player, knowing the rules of the game and many common strategies and pitfalls by heart.
Coming from a house that has built its wealth and influence from breeding giant lizard steeds, she grew up learning how to ride and care for them.
Growing up, she has learned a lot about the underdark, its fauna and its flora, how to orient oneself in its vast network of tunnels and caves, where to find drinkable water, which mushrooms and plants are edible and how to tell when there's dangerous predators about.
As is to be expected, the same cannot be said about her knowledge of the surface. She isn't familiar with the fauna and flora of the surface and has little reference for what animals are harmless, which ones are dangerous, which plants are poisonous or how to find your way if you are lost.
Also, Quallin'ithra isn't necessarily aware of societal expectations and customs at the surface and mainly sticks to what she is used to as polite behavior and proper etiquette and presentation.

Virtues & Personality perks
Discipline
While enjoying the high life, Quallin'ithra shows rigorous discipline when it is required of her. Be that while training, learning new skills, marching long distances or working menial tasks. No task is beneath her, no work too low, as long as performing them is deemed a necessity.
Loyalty
Despite being a drow, Quallin'ithra places a lot of value in loyalty and as such is fiercely loyal to her allies, herself. Once she deems someone an ally, let alone a friend, she would rather go through the nine hells than betray that trust.
Perseverance
No matter how low she falls, Quallin'ithra refuses to give up. In her eyes, it is only over once your soul has been claimed for good, and any defeat she suffers only fuels her desire to better herself.
Attentiveness
Years of looking over her shoulder and keeping her eyes peeled for potential threats have left Quallin'ithra remarkably perceptive and attentive. She never drops her guard and looks out for herself and her allies and she is adept at reading other's body language and involuntary movement to gauge their disposition towards her.
Vices & Personality flaws
Arrogance
Even having to flee into exile and being discarded like a broken toy by her goddess were not enough to shatter Quallin'ithra's sense of superiority and pride. She believes herself to be more skilled, perceptive and capable than those around her and, while not openly stating it, often shows a smug attitude.
Inflexibility
The downside of Quallin'ithra's strict discipline: She struggles to adapt to new circumstances, societal customs and social dynamics. As such, she is often stubborn and might not bite her tongue, even when it would be wise to do so.
Vengefulness
Quallin'ithra neither forgives nor forgets slights committed against her, be they on purpose or by accident. That doesn't mean she will endlessly harp on minor transgressions such as a disrespectful joke or a thoughtless mistake that didn't have dire consequences, but if she deems something dire enough, she will not rest until punishment has been enacted.
Personality Quirks
Quallin'ithra is very apprehensive about eating and drinking foods she has not personally prepared from start to finish, since she is no longer able to detect poison or purify her food.
Equally, Quallin'ithra is very particular about her personal space and physical contact and avoids it whenever possible, even something as simple as a handshake.
Hygiene
Quallin'ithra practices her personal hygiene meticulously, making sure to wash herself once a day when feasible and combing or brushing through and braiding her hair diligently at least 3 times a week to avoid tangles and build-up of dust and dirt. Equally, she makes sure her clothes are clean and presentable.

Contacts & Relations
After Quallin'ithra had to flee the underdark, she has lost all of her worldly contacts, though at the same time, she has gained an immensely powerful ally: Archdevil Zariel.
While she still has to prove herself in her patron's eyes, she knows that the devil supports her hunger for vengeance and will do what it takes to earn her favor.
Wealth & Financial state
Fleeing into exile has left the drow with barely a copper to her name.
Family Ties
Before Quallin'ithra fled into exile, she was a member of House Auvryvyrr, but when she left Myth Ahnvae, she left her House's name behind with everything else.
Religious Views
After denouncing her faith, Quallin'ithra has fundamentally changed her views on religion. While worship of her goddess was once her life, she now views those that blindly follow their god's teachings as foolish and naïve, since a god may take away their blessings on a whim.
Equally, she believes worship of extraplanar beings of any kind to be misplaced, seeing her own connection to her patron as more transactional and governed by clearly defined rules that both she and her patron are bound to follow.
Social Aptitude
Quallin'ithra is adept at inserting herself in most social situations, though it comes much more naturally to her with high society. She can easily get a read on others and adjust her behavior to put them at ease.
Mannerisms
Quallin'ithra tends to present herself as calm and reserved, keeping every move deliberate and minimal, while maintaining an almost regal posture.
How she treats others vastly depends on how she perceives their social standing in relation to her own.
Someone who she thinks might have power over her or the means to cause her trouble will be met with a polite and reserved attitude.
Those she perceives as being irrelevant or beneath her are regarded with a cold indifference, unless they provoke the drow's ire, at which point that indifference turns into a calculated and subtle cruelty.
Speech
Just as her overall mannerism's, Quallin'ithra's speech is deliberate and reserved. She speaks fast enough to keep her listener's attention, but slow enough to pronounce every word properly and clearly. Equally, her choice of words appears deliberate and indicative of her former standing, avoiding vulgar insults and swear words, which she views as beneath her.
Her voice is soft, melodic and pleasant, but reading her genuine emotions from her speech is a difficult task.
When using the drow's sign language, Quallin'ithra signs clearly and concisely, with little flair to her gestures as to keep them clear.
