Session 3

by Jin Ryoto

We allow the crew to do shore leave. The non-combat crew first.

In the evening, I explore the upper docks and area to see what's here. It's mostly for the 'entertainment' of ships crews. The buildings on this side of the upper dock are of a strange construction. They are highly walled and have flat rooves. They appear to be refurbished ruins / old buildings.

Need to talk to Drengr Manni Oleifsson to be a guide

We deliver the first two cargoes and go to the lower city to get the other cargoes delivered and sell our trade goods.

Drengr advises that we traverse the upper city and take the lift as near to the destination as possible.

A ship docks as we traverse towards the lower city and a ship comes into port with no balloon. It has an Imperial engine. This ship is the Javelin, owned by Jarl Alf Lightstem, Jarl of Birka.

We meet Ryul of Lialynn Trade Envoy to Rift City

He informs us regarding the rise of the Babylonian nation. The Emperor, known as Grunt, says that he is only looking to restore his old empire.
This may or may not spill through the rift, should he renege on the deal with Rift City

We are also told about the group of Mythically powered beings who stand against the despoiler.
They suggest that we update our various peoples regarding the area surrounding the prison being controlled by one of his acolytes.

The crew of the Ruby Growlers Syndicate (Symbology: Red flag with a black raven): Ship name: Blue Sabretooth, Captain Kisse, tries to extort money from us. We see them off, with the help of a Lizardfolk Ianzu of the Untamed.

The Ruby Growlers are trying to set themselves up as a rival to Birka. The problem is that no-one trusts them.

We head to the Wolf Clan broker.

He informs us of a settlement on the Northern coast that live within the ruins of an ancient civilisation with active defenses. They are looking for someone to travel to them and get payment in magetech. They need an airship to get into 'the gullet'

We meet with Winston and Sir Barksalot and broker a trade deal to help them out. He is a representative of the Eclipse Association.

Contact is 'Winston' and Sir Barksalot (his familiar).
