Shadow Walk target Gilbrand Castasis. Accountant. Member of Platinum Patrons. Church of Cygna. Member of Castasis Compound
-tends to work in the Tri Spire district specifically in the Nexus Isle
 
B invesigated the Castasis compound:
-The compound is almost fully a pyramid made of glass, surrounded by 10 foot walls
-There is only one entrance with 2 guard towers on each side. Each guard tower has 2 guards (4 total)
-At about 8 -8:30 PM on the road leading to the compound the cart returns. It was protected by 2 soldiers with medium armor and spears and a big dude wearing black armor with a greatsword, he seemed to have good perception since he looked in my general direction. Once it got to the compound we heard the driver says "From the darkest night comes the brightest light" which was the passcode to open the gate.
-The gate was only open for about 30 seconds after the cart and protection detail cleared the gate
-About an hour after the cart arrived I see a young man in fine robes that goes out onto the balcony and sits watching the sky for 15 minutes, while drinking out of a tea cup.
-It was hard to see any light or anything through the glass windows even with a high perception check
-guards change in 8 hour shifts
-Rev joins me in the night - we feel an ominous presence in the woods, but nothing happens - I know that there are a handful of creatures that leave this presence. It is a either a fey or aberation and I sensed with Primeval Awareness that it is within 1 mile.
-In the morning we see Castasis goes out on his balcony and has a lighter skinned female elf serve his breakfast and just enjoys his time for around 30 minutes.
-30 minutes after his breakfast the carriage leaves again with the same 3 guards.

The rest of the group found out that there was going to be a party at the Castasis compound on Wednesday for a big announcement. A lot of the prominent nobles and council member will be in attendance, but it requires an invitation.
-I found out that there will be a lot of guards (50) hired to guard the road to the compound since there are creatures in the wood. It doesn't sound like the guards (known as Spiremen) will be in the compound since the compound has its own
-There were also college kids that mentioned that their parents were going. They were going to get new clothes for the party. That would be another option
-look into hiring a carriage to get into the party
 
Thursday:
-Rev and B folllow Castasis and his carriage to his workplace on the Nexus island.
-a guy named Cigo Gravand(logger) says thank you for the invite. Rev steals a locket with his name engraved on it.

Rev and B follow the carriage after Castasis. Castasis went into the Chamber of Commerce Building. We could not find anything after breaking into his cart.

-B break into Cigo's house while Rev returns the locket to his wife Ingrid Gravand (elf) from the front door. B finds the office with a contract worth 25k gold pieces for rennovations at the Castasis's estate
 
-Gustav and Jonesy go to the Stadium Bar and find out a special beer was ordered for the party and it will be delivered by porters that we know
-They then found out about two halflings that were going to go to the party and followed them to the art museum. Gustave set off a bomb to scare everyone away and followed them back to their house. Gustave broke in through the balcony and disguised himself as a slightly fatter version of one of them. They took their invitations and tied them up and told them not to go to the party.
 
Night of the party:
-B and Rev will go disguised as Rev's parents (B is Lenora Cresthill)
-Gustave and Jonesy are going as the halflings
 
-we eventually see Castasis go through an invisible area in the back of the staircase. We used heat metal to distract his big guard and run past him down a set of stairs. We heard screaming from the woman he brought down there and saw him biting her as well as a coffin meaning he is a vampire as we expected. We began attacking him.
