Merfolk came to find something, but what?

Jorg skeleton hand: he thinks it’s strange, and he wonders why he always gets questions about it, and what he could do about it.
He has no desire to kill me though.
 
I pray to Selune, the humanoid shape reappears. It sounds like the humanoid shape is praying itself. When I try to get closer, I keep hearing ‘find me’. Ice cold wind pushes me to the water. I enter it.
I feel like choking. Fish stops turning and looks at me. He feels mentally linked. He asks for loyalty. Eyes everywhere
Eyes seem to be linked to octopus like creature.
I refuse loyalty to it. It does not feel bad however.
Everything goes dark. I suppose I’m truly choking.
 
I have marking on my back, runic F kind of.
No one knows what it is, or who it belongs to.
 
The shape is in my room when I wake up. It seems like darkness in the cloak.
It follows me. Hearthstead is the place where religious scholars live.
 
In the darkness I find a burning eagle, it shows me all animals and when I ask, humans. She turns into a burning dryad. She shows me powers of fire. When I tell her I need morality and not special powers she hurts me, to the point of almost dying. I have burning scars on my wrist.
Robed figure now has tentacles and a burning eagle on its robe.
 
Nora says it’s religious, not demigodlike. Punishment or not, no idea.
Where is Selune? Why has she abandoned me?
