idk where to start so ig last time on dragon ball z we encountered an island that was not supposed to be in the path we were taking because it was in front of the whale migration pattern. Captain Feint called for a sand docking, but then mysteriously a dock appeared on the side of the island with another boat docked there. This boat is the boat of the fisherman crew. On the boat we find fisherman #5 and our old companion Moe, who has had a minor design change. Moe walked up to us and asked if we were also there to explore the island (the fisherman #1-#4 and our companion Faelyn). Moe directs us up the island to the entrance gate, of which has two swinging metal gates with two skeletons with tatters of cloth that appeared to be sailing outfits. Captain Feint, First Mate Slicks, The Explorer from the forgotten ruins, The Jester, Gorshahn, and Smeer make their move into the island that has a small village that is surrounded by what is essentially a circular wall of rocks. Captain Feint meets with the fisherman who are in the village. Fisherman #2 tells us that we are on the island of the fallen fisherman and that the people of the village will show up in the night. After which he leans to Captain Feint and whispers something to her, to which we see her snicker and smirk and say "yeah they are kinda like that" referring to Gorshahn, The Jester, and Smeer. Captain feint continues to not know our names and tells us some orders: She tells Gorshahn to cook and prepare an offering, The jester to draw up a map, and Smeer to secure the perimeter. After finishing our duties, we meet up with Faelyn and Moe to exchange stories of what had happened while she was gone. During our exchange The Explorer walked up and asked us why and exarch was with a holy ammo bearer. Moe, hearing this, shuts down mentally, clinging to his ammo box. Smeer tells The Explorer the backstory of us with Faelyn. After asking why we Faelyn didnt bring him to be disposed of and manufactured, calling him cattle. She says that she saw potential in him to become more than a ammo bearer. The Explorer reveals himself to be Kuran, the revered librarian who was a doubter as to Gaius' location in The Forgotten Ruins. He says that should Faelyn return to her duties as an exarch, she would be stripped of her rank. Faelyn tries to console Moe to which doesn't work. As night falls, the town slowly becomes more animated: The Skeletons in the cages come alive as their spirits. Gorshahn sets up a food stall and starts advertising his food. The spirits come and eat "the spirit of the food." In order to communicate with the spirits and eat their food, we are given a "black orb" that we need to eat. We are told that Colm, the man of laughs, the man of dreams, is the one who brings these fallen sailors to the island. The Jester recognizes Colm's laugh to be the same on that she experienced in her dream. The Jester decided to play for the spirits to which Colm comes out and applauds her performance (Ana rolled 19+11). After the performance Colm invites us to eat at his table. Afterwards, Colm notices Moe, saying that he is "multiple spirits in one base" and "not one of his." The Jester immediately goes to sit down at the table, and in front of her appears a plate with a cloche. Underneath the cloche, there is a very tall tiramisu. The Jester picks up a fork to dig into her dish, and the fork starts to transform, turning into a fork with complex, almost fancy, design with an engraved J. The chair that The Jester sits on also slowly starts to transform, to one akin to the one she would've sat on when performing for her monarch. For one of the first times ever, The Jester is able to consume this food, eating it in the same way that she used to when she was alive. The tiramisu tastes amazing, comforting, and familiar, as if it were the same one she had when she was alive. After seeing The Jester dig in to the tiramisu, Smeer goes to sit down in front of a plate with another cloche. As the cloche is raised, underneath is a roast, one that was very familiar. Smeer picks up his fork to "dive in" to his meal, and the fork starts to transform into a wooden one, one that appeared to be hand carved. The seat that Smeer sat on transformed into a small dirt mound. The roast that appeared before Smeer tasted familiar, comfortable, homely, and delicious. Gorshahn, after seeing two members of his party sit down, sits down and Colm starts talking to him. Colm says that he knows Gorshahn "likes his meat on the undercooked side." Gorshahn's cloche opens, and underneath it is a slab of meat. And in opposition to his companion's meals, Gorshahn is served his meal without utensils. Gorshahn's meal tastes lightly cold, but it tastes like survival, it tastes like a well earned meal. Faelyn had yet to have sat down at this point, rather than sitting down immediately, she attempts to have Moe sit down, to which he refuses, but in response, Kuran moves towards the table, eating a pellet, and sitting down in a chair. In front of him appears to be essentially army rations/hardtack. Another chair appears at the table after Kuran sits down. Faelyn tries to feed Moe one of the pellets to let him eat, he refuses. Colm, acknowledging Faelyn's efforts, says not to worry and that she needs to"[let him go.]" Colm gives Moe his own side table to sit at, to which he is sat. In front of Moe, the plate in front of him continuously morphs, showing indecisiveness. Colm reaches into Moe's head, pulling out a knotted mass of strings (souls). Colm becomes absorbed in untangling the mass of strings. Faelyn finally sits down at the table, to which underneath her cloche is a familiar apple pie. Her pie tastes familiar, comfortable, and homely, as if it was made by her fiancé. Colm, after sorting through the strings, finds an ashy dark black string, and moves to cut this string. After it was cut, the amalgamation of strings comes apart and individual strings start to fly away, save for one, of which Colm places back into Moe. Afterwards, Moe looks up and says "hey guys, where am i, what happened?" Moe's food on the plate finally stops transforming, to which a cloche is placed on top of it. Underneath the cloche is The Flying Fish Tavern's fried red mackerel. Moe's table slides forward and joins into the mass of the main table. Colm turns to us saying that "[he] hopes everything is to [our] liking, here in [his] realm [he] makes sure [we] enjoy [our] stay." Colm continues to talk to us saying that outside there is pain and hardship, to which if we leave we are returned to, but offers us the ability to stay. In front of us appears a paper written in a language we didn't understand and quills/pens, each customized into forms relating to us. The words on the paper shift and change into common, on the bottom is a line with the words "your name here." He first turns to Gorshahn, all the while saying that there will be no more pain, there would be no need for constructs like money or fame. Hearing this, Gorshahn immediately decides to refuse this offer. He places down a quill tipped with a "red ink" that runs familiarly to Gorshahn. Gorshahn's contract rolls up and *pop* disappears. Colm turns to Smeer, almost expectantly. Smeer, holding his makeshift dip pen made out of a stick and a pointed rock. He takes a look around, taking in the scenery, all the while noticing that nobody at the table is a member of his family. Smeer refuses to sign the paper stating that "this isnt what [he] sought out to do, despite it being amazing," and that "[he] [wishes] to be returned with his family in the afterlife, not on this island." Smeer places down his pen, and in a similar fashion to Gorshahn's contract, rolls up and *pop* disappears. Colm turns to Faelyn. Faelyn holds an articulate pen that appears a bit old, possibly a kind of family heirloom. Faelyn sits there and looks over at Moe. After glancing at him, she places her pen down. The contract rolls up and *pop* disappears as well. Finally Colm turns The Jester. The Jester sits there, thinking that she does not wish to disappoint someone who really appreciated her talents, she decides to sign the contract with a very intricate pen with a nice thick ink, that appeared to be imported. Colm is very pleased by the fact that The Jester signed the contract. The contract rolls up with a little bow wrapping around it and then *pop*. Afterwards, Colm's plate finally appears before him, when the cloche is lifted, there is nothing. Smeer, Faelyn, and Gorshahn notice that their meals taste less comforting. After Colm "eats" he stands up and says "there is a creature who will be here soon, one that revels underneath the bright moon, a being of coral, one you have all seen. my hound dog, my hunter, the one who retrieved your souls form the dark murky depths, in the deep ocean bowl. but worry not and fret little, for the reef walker arrives. it will try to be gentle, for you have pain your tithe." Essentially Colm is weeding out the island so new people can join. The party decide the course of action we should make is to run. Smeer blows the silent whistle, to which they hear nothing approach for a second, then a rumbling appears. From the sky a carriage appears, and from the ground Friend appears. Smeer, Gorshahn, and Feylin (with Moe) decide to board the Carriage. The Jester, while standing there, notices that the Fishermen are fighting the Creature, to which #2 is held in its grasp. #2 gets crushed but then suddenly returns to life after the moon "changes color." Afterwards, The Jester finally gets into the carriage. Smeer asks Friend to take the group to Captain Feint's boat, to which they are immediately transported under the water. The Carriage rises up out of the water to find that Captain Feint's ship has crashed on the sand of an island. Captain Feint, First Mate Slicks, and the rest of the crew are unconscious on the sand. Faelyn and Moe are mysteriously transported to the Fishermen's ship, to which there is no sign of other than a few stray bandages floating about on the ocean.
