The bastard Lust, who had tricked me, burned me and knocked me out, came swooping in for another attack towards the Illiterate human. Claws met flesh as blood splattered on the glass floor beside the charred corpse of the Mayor’s daughter. I awoke In an instant, as I saw my friend Saaxol stand over me and pull me to my feet. I grabbed my blade from the floor and sprinted towards the beast with my rapier in hand. Surging with a newfound confidence, I rose my blade into the air and slashed downward into the beast leaving a large bloody gash in its hide. Blood splattered on my mask and chest as I went in for another strike towards Lust’s lower leg. I could see it in Lust’s blood-laden eyes as they darted to each of my companions, he was scared to die. I rose my rapier again and slashed through scales and bone, as his foot came off and flew off the roof into the flames below. Lust collapsed in front of me as a struck the final blow into his skull, taking his life and his power: Bloodlust.”
